Rubber processing methods

Processing rubber can be done following two different types of processes that allows the rubber to be manipulated: it can be done by heat or by pressure, but the starting point is always recycled rubber granulate. This is the stage by which we give shape to the best products: anti-shock rubber tiles, discs and handlebars. Depending on the working method we use we may include variable percentages of virgin material and more or less coarse grain sizes to give our products a more or less smooth and pleasant sensation to the touch.

Customization of rubber granules

Self processing the rubber allows us to shred the tires into granulometry of variable sizes to make trauma rubber tiles adaptable for different uses. Using granulate of different size allows us to give the tiles the features we want, speaking of mechanical properties: if we want it to be able to absorb more or less bump force. Lastly different granules sizes gives the tile a different sensation to the touch.
